An hEIDI project is always associated to a MSIdb connection. You should have created a MSIdb connection before to create a new project.

In File Menu or Project tab context menu :

• select New Project
• in step 1., choose the Heidi Project and click next
• in step 2., specify a project name and location where are related data will be saved and click next

• in step 3., select a MSI db connection to associate to new project.
