How to creata a connecting to a database
In order to use hEIDI, a connection to a MSI db (Mass Spectrometer Identification database) is requiered. But it is possible to create a conenction to all kind of databases and to execute queries on it.
MSIdb are most often created on postgresql databases server.
Create a connection on database
In the Service window,
- expend the
Driversnode - select the database server type hosting your MSIdb
- enter the connection properties in appropriate fields.
