The dialog is accessed through the top-bar File submenu. The dialog itself provides the user with the means required to change a series of options according to his personal préférences.
For the time being, the number of the available user préférences/settings is minimal. Regardless of the limited for now options, the available user préférences are organized into the following categories. (Subject to change) :
Contains parameters that concern the communication between your local machine and the JMS Server. Options/Settings that fall in this category should be treated with greater caution.
Contains a series of general-uncategorized settings.
– Hide Getting Started Window : As its label denotes, this checkbox permits us to decide on wether we want or not to Getting Started dialog to appear on Proline Studio's startup. This options takes effect at the next reboot of Proline Studio.
– Import data name based on : This is a less intuitive preference concerning the datasets' representation Inside the identification tree. Using the combobox, the user can rename all trees' nodes according to a different dataset's field. This renaming, is read-only and has no effect on the database.
– Export Decorated : When “Export Decorated” affects the respective default value on all excel export dialogs.
– XIC Drag & drop retains structure : Concerns the behavior of the first step of the XIC Quantitation Wizard.
