You can delete Search Results, Identification Summaries and Datasets in the data tree. You can also delete XIC or Spectral Counts in the quantitation tree.
The data removal is done at two level and therefore un two operations :
There are two ways to delete data: use the contextual popup or drag and drop data to the Trash.
Select the data you want to delete, click the mouse right button to open the contextual menu and click on delete menu.
The selected data is put in the Trash. So it is possible to restore it while the Trash has not been emptied.
Select the data you want to delete and drag it to the Trash. It is possible to restore data while the Trash has not been emptied
To empty the Trash, you have to Right click on it and select the “Empty Trash” menu.
A confirmation dialog is displayed and if accepted Dataset will be removed from the Trash.
Once this operation is done, a new dialog will invite you to clean the DataStore
If you choose No : Search Results are not completely removed, you can retrieve them from the “All Imported” window. If you choose Yes, the clean project dialog will be displayed (see bellow)
It is not possible to delete a Project by yourself. If you need to do it, ask to your IT Administrator
To clean up your project and definitively remove unused data from Proline DataStore, select the “clean” icon near the project name. This dialog will also be opened after “Empty Trash” action.
The following dialog will be displayed, in order to let the user select the data to be removed. All data not referenced in Identification or Quantitation trees will be listed.
Actually it is not possible to view an old Identification Summaries : if it has been replaced with a new one after a clear or a revalidation for example. This is why, by default all Identification Summaries are selected.
If you select a search result, be sure to select also associated Identification Summaries.
This feature is in beta version, so a lot of work has to be done on the dialog and certainly on its functionality.
